2. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Custom Slag Crusher Plant is a purposebuilt, semimobile or stationary processing system designed for the primary and secondary reduction of blast furnace (BF) slag, steel slag, and nonferrous slags. It transforms large, irregular slag feed (typically up to 800mm) into precisely calibrated aggregate (e.g., 05mm, 520mm, 2040mm).
Operational Workflow:
1. Feed & PreScreening: Runoffurnace slag is fed via excavator or loader onto a heavyduty grizzly feeder, which removes fine material (40mm) bypassing the crusher to increase efficiency.
2. Primary Crushing: Oversize material is directed into a robust primary jaw crusher configured for high abrasion resistance and large feed acceptance.
3. Secondary Crushing & Screening: The primary crushed material is conveyed to a secondary impactor or cone crusher for final size reduction, then onto a multideck vibrating screen for classification.
4. Product Stockpiling: Correctly sized aggregates are conveyed to separate stockpiles. Oversize material is recirculated back to the secondary crusher in a closed circuit.
